What's Menopause?

Menopause is the time that marks the end of your menstrual cycles. It's diagnosed after you've gone 12 months without a menstrual period. Menopause can happen in your 40s or 50s.

During menopause, your body goes through major hormonal changes, decreasing the amount of hormones it makes — particularly estrogen.When your ovaries no longer make enough estrogen, it can trigger a number of changes in your lifestyle. Fluctuating moods

Changes in hormone levels can make it difficult to fall asleep at night. This can also make it difficult to make it through the day.

Stopping of your periods

Perimenopause
